Illegal traders selling smuggled cigarettes in the shadow of Parliament featured on the cover of this issue. There was also a report on the TMA’s pre-Budget meeting with the Economic Secretary to the Treasury during which he was told that tax cuts on tobacco were the only way to reduce the level of smuggling.
