The TMA’s submission to the Health and Consumer Protection Directorate-General’s (DG SANCO) consultation on smoke-free options for Europe. The TMA supports the view that any decision should be in the form of a recommendation rather than legislation. It believes that residential premises, private membership clubs and hospitality outlets should, with some provisions, be places where smoking should continue to be allowed.
