Representing the UK Tobacco Sector

Who We Are

The Tobacco Manufacturers' Association (TMA) is the trade association for tobacco companies that operate in the United Kingdom.

Our members are British American Tobacco UK Ltd, Gallaher Ltd (a member of the JTI Group of companies) and Imperial Tobacco Ltd. The TMA's prime function is to represent the views of its members when communicating with the UK Government, the authorities and others on issues of shared interest and concern, including taxation, smuggling and youth access prevention.

The TMA defends the legitimate interests of its member companies and the freedom of adults to make an informed choice about whether to smoke or not.
